2 Peter 1:1-2
(2 Peter 1:1-2)
『Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to
them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness
of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace
and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our
Lord, 』
Those who
receive this letter are born again. Those who are born again receive faith from
God. 『through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus
Christ』. 『through』means “in the Holy Spirit”. So, "the one in the righteousness of Christ" means the
one who is born again. What is the same as "like precious faith"? It
is connected to 『Our God』. They
are those who have received precious faith from God like jewelry.
In the letter, the Apostle Paul first said ``Grace and peace be
multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,''. The
Apostle Paul wrote to most of the callers, except for some in 1 Corinthians.
But from Hebrews, the content begins to change. After the new covenant was
spoken in Hebrews, it began to change from James. In James 1:18, "Of his
own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of
firstfruits of his creatures" means "new birth." In 1 Peter 1:2,
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification
of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:
Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. Those who were chosen are the target.
The one who
was chosen is, "The Holy Spirit sanctified and chose to obtain obedience
and sprinkle the blood of Jesus Christ."
So in Chapter 1:3, 『According as his divine power
hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the
knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 』
Those who are chosen are born again. In Chapter 1:23, 『Being
born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever. In the first book of John, the phrase “born from God” appears eight times.
Faith is
different from the faith I decided to believe and the faith I received from
God. In Revelation 13:8, ``And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world. 』
In the last days, the Antichrist establishes his idol. The Bible says that if
people do not bow to the idol, they will kill them all. It means that those who
do not receive the 666 mark are prohibited from buying or selling. However,
when you receive the ticket, in 14:10, 『The same shall
drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into
the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 』
When you read
this article, you will think, "If I get back then, I must never get the
ticket." However, those who think such things become those who are under
the law. The same goes for those who say, "If people get 666, they should
go to hell because they are going to hell." Those who say so are those
under the law. People who are not born again will receive everything. It was
Peter. When Peter was not born again, he left Jesus before the cross and fled.
Even if you experience some miracle, learn the words of eternal life, and
realize that Jesus is the Son of God, you will receive the mark if you are not
born again. Only those recorded in the Lamb's book of life do not receive the
mark, Revelation (13:8) said.
At the
Passover supper, Jesus said, "You will forsake me tonight," but the
disciples replied, "No one will abandon you." Likewise in Revelation,
『And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world. ", but those who are not born again will say,
"I do not bow down to idols." There is no one who will not bow down
with human power. Like passionate explorers, they think, "If we enter
Canaan, we die." The old man (guilty) says that he must be dead to be born
again, but pastors say that guilty never dies. So they think of being born
again as a state of mind.
